Dr. Jose Luis Perez-Navarro
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Málaga in 1985.
He moved to Tarifa in 1988 for his passion for the windsurfing and the sports medicine, where he establishes his medical consultation.
He studied University Specialist in Sport Traumatology extending it after with a Master in Sport Traumatology by Spanish School of Sport Traumatology developed by Professor Dr. Pedro Guillén and Professor José Luis Martínez Romero obtaining the extraordinary prize of first promotion and honors.
Later he developed a study about 1.107 clinic cases about the pathology of windsurf publishing a world first book titled “Injuries in Windsurf” (Spanish School of Sport Traumatology).
He is recognized with the National Prize in Sport Traumatology (SETRADE) in 2007.
He realized the Master in Valuation of Body Damage, Labor Disabilities and Medical Judicial Assessment of Granada.
His professional experience is over 25 years in the medicine and sport traumatology, labor injuries, general medicine and emergencies, due to have been working on various services and labor insurance companies.
He has been Chief of the Medical Services of the team Club Basketball Villa de Los Barrios (LEB ORO) being three times in the play off to ACB.
His life is intimately related to the sport (player of basketball, light sailing and cruising sailor and competitor of the windsurf speed world championship with Spanish record in 1992), being a medical collaborator of the Magazine Surf a Vela.
His tireless quest to learn and improve has drove him to completed more than 100 courses, expositions, congresses and communications at national and international level being always constantly training.
